Por qué estudiar en Toronto
The First Principle is that learning works very well when it is student-centered.
We assume that you will be motivated to learn about things that personally interest you. Your dreams, interests and goals are as important as anyone else’s, and that includes the teacher. The combination of a set curriculum structure and the flexibility to accommodate each student’s special interests gives learning the freedom to flourish.
The Second Principle is that learning works better when it is made a part of the experiences of daily life.
Our Language courses immerse you in these real world experiences with role playing, field trips, computer use and group learning activities. You learn to speak and write English or French in real world situations with teachers who are responsive to your personal needs and interests.
The Third Principle is that people learn best when they are confident, at ease and happy.
There is a great learning atmosphere here. We are a very friendly school and we encourage a positive sense of community where you are at ease to converse with others in English or French and develop friendships. In such a setting, you will find that language learning happens in a very natural and effective way.
Actividades sociales
- After-Class Activities
Our activities make the most of the four distinct Canadian seasons. Attend the school in the summer and take up bicycling, rollerblading, golfing, kayaking or learn how to salsa in the summer heat. Enjoy winter sports like tobogganing, skiing and skating or come in from the cold for indoor rock-climbing, movie nights, live basketball games and much more. Fresh air nature hikes are easily accessible all year round.
You pay only for your transportation and entrance fees. A teacher or Activities Coordinator is your guide.
- Weekend Adventures
Toronto students can take a day trip to Niagara Falls or join Montreal students in Ottawa to experience the National Gallery and great walking tours. Not far from Montreal, Quebec City awaits with its French-Canadian culture, festivals and Old World charm.

I've really enjoyed to be here because the classes have a very informal atmosphere. It's friendly and you can choose from many different classes. You can choose what you are really interested in and also, like me, you can enter the Co-op program which I think is really interesting for my future and it's a great experience. Also, it's a great experience to live in a Homestay family. It's something I will never forget. Marta Munoz, Spain.
My stay in Toronto was awesome! They provided me good teachers and facilities and a well built structure for the classes. They also gave me a unique opportunity to improve my English as I had never before. I could not have had better teachers than the ones I found here! All of them have an amazing knowledge of English and they have many different ways of teaching without making the class a boring environment. They found a really kind homestay family in which I trust and who made my stay in Canada even more richer in terms of English learning. I hope that I can come back and spend more time in this fantastic place. Thank you for what you have done for me! Guilherme Miranda, Brazil.
I had studied at this school for six months. I love this English Language School so much because the teachers are all have pretty personality and they always teach us by different styles, special they treat students like friends such as they share their experiences in the life and provide the professional opinions for us, these are all let me feel I can learn more fascinating things not only English. Besides, I can make many friends from all over the world and I can understand different cultures deeply by chatting with them. I can learn English not only in classes but also hang out with them. The administrative staffs in school are also passion and patience to deal with the events from students. I’m so appreciated that ILSC provided me a good environment to learn English and let me know I can go anywhere and make friends by using English. These are all opening up my vision and let me realize the world is big and interesting. Yu Hsin Lin, Taiwan.
