Cambridge - Guildhall was established in 1983 and is the most centrally located English language school in the city. It is situated right in the heart of the historic university town, less than 100 meters from Market Square and the Central City Library. The famous King’s College Chapel and the main bus station are only 3 minutes’ walk away. You will find the school in a charming period building dating back to 1820.

Girton is a village of about 1600 households, and 4500 people, situated to the north-west of the city of Cambridge. It has a long history as a village in fact people were living here pre Saxon times. In the past the city name was Gretton which means 'village on the gravel', so called because the settlement grew up along a gravel ridge.The village is lively and dynamic. Residents contribute to activities locally and globally. The village diary, business and community links give a broad outline of events, facilities and the village infrastructure.
Girton College, part of the University of Cambridge, was built in the 19th century especifically for women students.
Lunch time: The school has its own Café Guide – ask for a copy at the EC reception desk when you arrive. As well as the pizzeria downstairs, many students choose to eat at the EC Café in the Corn Exchange next door, where discounts are available through your EC student card.
After- class entertainment: Cambridge’s nightlife has improved enormously in recent years; the city is said to have almost the highest number of pubs per capita than anywhere else in the country.
There are now several large nightclubs and venues where you can regularly see live bands and concerts and there are many nightclubs, playing different kinds of music throughout the week. There are also regular student nights, and you can collect your discount vouchers for drinks and entry from EC Cambridge for most of them.
There are theatres in the city, offering anything from Shakespeare to musicals.
Cambridge also boasts two ten-screen multiplex cinemas, as well as the famous Arts Cinema, where the Cambridge Film Festival is held annually.
