Social Activities
On Tuesday afternoons, you can join a cultural talk, visit or an activity. Guest speakers give talks and demonstrations on a variety of topics. Visits include guided tours of Oxford, museums and local places of interest. Activities include punting, ice skating and cinema visits. They also organise football games after school. On Wednesdays or Thursday evenings you can meet your friends and teachers in a pub for a drink and a chat or go to a disco. The school also has regular parties and quiz evenings in school. These activities are included in fees.
Weekend excursion
As you know, classes are only a part of your language learning. While you are in Oxford is also important for you to have fun, relax, make friends from all over the world and improve your English at the same time. As well as the social, cultural and sporting activities that are included on your course, the school also offer weekend excursions for you to join, at additional cost. These include full-day visits to places of interest, such as London, Bath, Windsor, Stonehenge and Salisbury, or long weekends in Scotland or Paris.

When you are not in class, you can relax in one of the student lounges and read the daily newspapers, listen to music and chat to teachers and students - in English of course! Alternatively, you can use one of study rooms to read, do your homework, listen to CDs and tapes, watch DVDs and videos or use our computers for extra language practice.
Free LAN and WiFi Internet access is available for all students. Chinese, Japanese and Korean keyboard input is possible on our Internet computers. University placement advice is available and university prospectuses are available in the Reading Room.
