Duration of Course
You choose - anything from one week to one year. The minimum course length is typically either one or two weeks. However certain courses have specific lengths like our Academic Exam Preparation courses. For more information go to English Courses.
How many hours per week will I study?
Our full time courses are at least 15 hours per week. They all meet the minimum requirement for visa students. If you wish to study for more hours per week, choose one of our full-time intensive courses. Have a look at this one at London - Central.
Level Test
How can I check to see if my level is correct for a particular course?
We have our own online Level Test that can give you a good idea of what your level is. This is however only a guide and you will be tested again prior to starting your course by your school.
Long Study
Can I extend my course if I like the school?
Yes of course - provided there is space available. Similarly if you wish to upgrade your course this is also possible. Please either contact Answer English and we can arrange everything for you or if you prefer speak direct to the registrar in the school. If you are a visa student there may be less flexibility in terms of lengthening your stay and you may wish to consider an upgrade to a more intensive course over an extension. It is however not usually possible to shorten your course or change to a less intensive course except in special circumstances.See the schools terms and conditions for further information.
Start date of Course
When can I start my English course?
You can start General English and Executive courses any Monday of the year. Exam preparation and Specialist courses do have specific start dates. If you know which course you would like to take consult an Answer English Student advisor for advice on start dates.Teachers
